Man it has been a very long time since I have been on here! I actually had to make a new account. I’m curious who is still around from the original group? I do miss talking with all and hope to reconnect with some of the original members again. Talk with you all soon!

Hey Michael, I'm still around but have more or less given up the oar due to a partial tear in my rotator cup. Too old to go through surgery and the PT. Just concentrating on my Salmon fishing now.
Truly enjoy that Can you carved for me. Thank you!

Haven't even had the boat in the water in the last 2 years. Good chance we're moving to Indiana this year...maybe it won't freeze solid there by the end of October.

Sounds like you're following the path of Bob Hayden to Indiana. That's where he retired to and where that float of yours came from. Bob missed the west coast and the sculling it afforded but set up shop back there building scull boats and carving decoys, A few I still have. Who knows, ya might find a few of his floats still in use there?

I’m still here and Matt Keller isn’t due to safety concerns he turned 88 or 89 this last December. The twenty year drought got a good amount of rain recently so reservoirs are filling back up. I don’t know whose left many have moved out California due high taxes and politics. I was told many are on Facebook but, I just go there. Yep! I have tried to do another scullers get together the last two was 2009 and 2011. Yep! We are a dying breed a lost art.
